The 世界杯官方合作网站’s three 驻校学术作家 are here to help.

 

专业, published writers 和 Royal Literary Fund Fellows, 迈克·伍兹, 莎拉·希拉里和米尔扎·瓦希德, 提供保密, one-to-one tutorials for students in all subject areas 和 to support all aspects of academic writing. This includes essays, reports, theses, dissertations, or personal statements. 每节课持续50分钟. Our free service is provided by the Royal Literary Fund (RLF) which sponsors over 80 writers to work in universities across the UK.

学生 of any discipline, at any level of study – from 1st year to postgraduate, 和 also staff – are welcome to book a session.

迈克尔-伍兹      

Michael is a poet with three collections - 没有笔记, 代数 和 开放时间 由圣殿诗社出版. His poems have appeared in several magazines 和 anthologies, including 回答了, 过时的 和 空巢 -全部由卡罗尔·安·达菲编辑. Others have won prizes in the Bridport, 勒德, 作家的手册, Hungry Hill 和 Poetry on the Lake competitions. He is currently working on his fourth collection.

莎拉·希拉里   

Sarah is an award-winning crime writer whose debut, 别人的皮肤, won the Theakstons Crime Novel of the Year. Her short stories have won the Cheshire Prize for Literature, SENSE奖, 和 the Fish Criminally Short Histories Prize. As well as writing, Sarah teaches crime fiction 和 mentors its rising stars. 她的第八本书， 黑刺，于2023年上映.

Waheed is a novelist 和 essayist. 他的处女作, 的合作者, 是一本国际畅销书吗, a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award 和 longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize. His second novel, The Book of Gold Leaves, was published in 2014 to critical acclaim. It was shortlisted for the DSC Prize 2016 和 nominated for the Folio Prize. It was also a finalist for the 2015 Tata Literature Live! 年度最佳书籍. Waheed’s third novel Tell Her Everything won the Hindu Prize for Fiction 2019.
